Changing the app store

You can change the store in the Boost interface without re-verifying access to the app. The app will be linked to a different store, and all ad unit settings will remain intact.

Before linking a store, make sure that the app from the new store isn't blocked and that its Bundle ID matches the Bundle ID specified in the Boost interface.

Warning

If your app is blocked in the Boost, you can't change the store and continue working with the app.

Step 1. Change the store in the app settings

  1. In the Boost interface, go to Ad Monetization → Applications.

  2. Open the desired app and click Ad Monetization.

  3. Next to the Link to the application field with your current store, click Change the store.

  4. The Changing the store window opens. In the Store drop-down list, select the store for linking the app.

  5. Fill in the fields:

    • App link: Add a link to the app in the selected store.
    • Developer: Enter the name of the app developer as it's specified in the store. You can copy the information from your previous settings.

  6. Click Save.

Step 2. Wait for moderation results (optional)

If your app hasn't passed moderation in the selected store yet, it's automatically submitted for review. Ad impressions are suspended during the moderation period. Once the app passes moderation, ad impressions will resume.

If your app already passed moderation in the selected store, the ad units become active immediately after you apply new settings, without requiring another review.

Where do I find the Bundle ID?

In the Boost interface:

  1. Go to Ad Monetization → Applications.
  2. Open the desired app and click Ad Monetization. The Bundle ID is specified in the Package name field.

In App Store:

  1. Find the app's page in App Store. For example, https://itunes.apple.com/ru/app/andeks.brauzer-dla-iphone/id483693909?mt=8.
  2. Copy the numeric ID in the URL between id and ?. In the example, it's 483693909.
  3. Paste the ID into the https://itunes.apple.com/lookup?id= URL after the = character: https://itunes.apple.com/lookup?id=483693909.
  4. Press Enter. The browser will download the 1.txt file. Search the file for bundleId. The app ID for Yandex Browser for iPhone in the example is ru.yandex.mobile.search.

In Google Play:

  1. Find the app and its page in Google Play. For example, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.yandex.browser.
  2. The Bundle ID is in the URL after ?id=. The app ID for Yandex Browser for Android in the example is com.yandex.browser.
What should I do if the store I'm on isn't in the list?

What should I do if the app failed moderation?

  1. Check the reason for rejection.

  2. If necessary, fix any technical issues.

  3. Resubmit the app for moderation:

    1. Open the tab Ad Monetization → Applications.
    2. Click View next to the app name in the list.
    3. Click Actions → Send to moderation.
Can I change the store if my app was rejected during moderation?

Yes, you can change the store for an app that was rejected during moderation. However, if the app was blocked in the Boost, you can't change the store or continue working with the app.
